Located on the same site as the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC) offers a comprehensive range of meeting spaces spread over three floors. With over 2,000 square meters of flexible space, it is your one-stop venue for all your meeting and event needs.
THE BCEC
Connected to the Holiday Inn is the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC). The BCEC is located in the heart of Birmingham's city centre, just a minute's walk from Birmingham New Street station, and offers some of the largest event space in the city. Located over three floors, The BCEC boasts over 2000 square metres of flexible space, accommodating over 1000 delegates.
THE MERCIAN SUITE
Dominating the second floor of the BCEC, our largest room, the Mercian offers private access and a spacious foyer perfect for pre-function receptions with a view of Hill Street. This fully flexible venue can be divided into two separate event spaces or combined for a single, multi-use event.
WEDDINGS
Located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, our modern Mercian Suite is your ideal multi-cultural wedding venue. Catering for up to 650 guests, we are the perfect blank canvas for any wedding celebration. With 24 flexible event spaces and 261 onsite bedrooms all within a 2-minute walk from New Street Station, it is the perfect space to make your dream wedding a reality.
We work closely with a number of local caterers to enable us to offer varying services and pricing options.
